painting ex. manifold

I'm wondering wheather or not to paint my 67 Goats Ex Manifolds.
Auto zone has some silver paint thats supposed to work to 1000 or 1500 degrees.
what do y'all do?

We use PlastiKote's "high temp" Iron Gray. Have the manifolds blasted (glass-bead, sand-blast, shot-blast). Spray them with brake cleaner and paint them as soon as the stuff evaporates.

IMO, "silver" looks cheesey on exhaust manfolds... The gray is more subtle and looks "correct".

silver looks like crap. I used the Iron Gray as well.

I've always used Calyx Manifold dressing. It works the best and leaves the correct finish. Check it out: Calyxmanifold
