Plug wire question

I recently installed a set of 8mm Accel plug wires with a straight boot. The one on the 7 cylinder (left rear) is stuffed into the steering shaft. How have you guys gotten around that, different boot, modifications, give me some fresh ideas here, pictures would be cool. Just pickin some brains.

Don't use a straight boot/end. Use a 45 or a 90 degree boot and end.

I ended up shortening the boot, the end opposite the plug to keep a good fit around the plug, then bending the plug end at a 45deg. It's still close to the steering tho. If I would have known the boot was going to be an issue like yours ahead of time, I would have bought 45deg boots. The straight ones do look cool, IMO. Especially, if you're not into originality..
