Question for the 68 owners

I stumbled upon a 68 GTO (real one) rotting away at a farm North of KC. (no front clip I don't think) It has no title but it needs to be hauled off or it goes to the crusher end of the month. All I know for sure now is that it has rally gauges and rally tach. If I haul this thing home I will be planning to part it. Is there anything anyone is looking for that I should check for (besides the gauges) cause I will need to get this thing torn down and out of my hair quick I have no where to store it. Since I have a 69 with rally gauges already the gauges and tach will be for sale if someone wants them.

Just let me know what you're looking for.

Don't let TMP hear about it, he'll want to put it back together. I don't need anything, but some pics would still be cool.

Nice! Hey that was my first thought (hate to see one get crushed) and from the description it was started some years ago, frame was painted and body started, firewall was painted a god awful limeish green color, but then it was just left. But with no room, no money and no titles, to many strikes against it. That said, with components like a rally gauge and tach set up, I figured someone should at least get the parts other people need to make theirs right.

Hey Big Iron,
It's not mine yet, and like I said no title, it's just a body. As far as I know it's not stolen just abandoned so you could probably get a title for it, but it would be a mess for sure.

If it has a limited slip rearend I will buy it and remove the rearend and then if you want it I'd want to get $300 since I would assume the sum of the parts is worth that.

Still interested?

Well good news bad news, I talked to the guy today and he says he sold it yesterday to a guy that came up cash in hand. So At least it won't go to the crusher, but I'd have loved to grab it myself.
