Someone has to do it!

Working on the goat is like nervana, but when the wife says "now", it means pack your bags.
I have had to back burner the project for the next two weeks, because I have to weather the tough job of living in Aruba for the next two weeks. Bear is cold, sand is hot, food is great, yeh, I think I can handle this for the next two weeks! Like the goat is going to drive itself!
So, for the the next two weeks, I can read, drink , sleep, eat, in any order I want. We all do need to recharge the batteries, but two weeks? This is a first for me to take two weeks off, but maybe it will be a regular thing too in the future.
Have the laptop and Magic Jack,( phone that connects to the laptop and gives you a local number anywhere in the world!) , won't go too wonkers here. Have our best friends with us too, so, I guess, next to good health, life doesn't get any better than this!

All.... stay warm, it is 85 here right now. Damn, keeping the beer cold on the beach can be a real task!

I think I attached a picture from my room, came in to watch the game!

I've heard there isn't much to do on Aruba except soak up sun, drink on the beach and snorkel. I'm sure you'll be going bonkers after just 1 week, so I'll volunteer to fly down and take your place for the second week.......

You could spend some time looking for Natalie Holloway while you're there. The Aruban government's handling of that case will keep me from ever visiting there again.

We hated Aruba, too. The Girls at Carlos and Charlies kept spilling the Tequila on my chin. Bummer.
Have fun. I will also volunteer to replace you for week 2.

Nope,
I'm back!
Wife said that if you take my place, bring lot's of $$$$. Not a bad idea, as I am burning through it pretty good.
There actually is a bunch of custom and rod boys out here. Found thier haunt, and will stop in to say hi one day.

As for finding Hollaway ( as sad as that is) , some nights not really sure I made it back to the right condo, thank g-d for the wife to point!

Been here about 5 times, and this is still my favorite island to go. Crime is still here, but so is it everywhere ( suspension ripped of right out of my company parking lot). As a matter of fact had a friend loose a blower up in Burlington,VT, so even the Green state is not immune. But for the next two weeks I don't have to shovel snow, get into a cold car, have to worry what's for dinner ( just red a menu), what to wear, when to get up...... see a pattern developing here?
I have that Magic Jack, so family can reach us. Only thing is I coundn't bring the wrenches or the ride!

Again, Mitch, remember, lots of Aruba Florins! Lots!!!
Oh yah, you have to carry her sand chair to and from the beach too!!!!

Let's see, day 5 9 more to go. Wonder if I have to acclimate myself on the return, like take a week to get home?

How do I feel right now?

$56 US = 100 florins, I can come up with about 1,786 florins. Is that enough ??
