Stumped...Radio issue.

So, I decided to put an after market hideaway radio in my 66 GTO. I have it hooked up and everything seems to work fine when I am in Park and Idling. However, once I put the car in gear and touch the accelerator the radio starts to go in and out. Once I reach 50-60 mph and let off the accelerator the radio comes back in again? Touch the accelerator it goes back out again? Any Idea's. My hot wire is hooked into the fuse box and the ground is ground to the dash at the back of the ashtray. I have move the hot and ground wires to different places and no change? I check all the connections and they are all appear solid? _ Joe

that is really strange ! if it was my car I would start by checking the voltage at the hot wire while driving ,, Could it be something going on with the antenna?
