Well wifey and I ran the Goat at 2000rpm for 30 minutes. and besides for a trans fluid leak at the radiator all seemed well. I ended up using 2 box fans. (hoists 2 fingers of Jamesons to Uncle Gee)
omg, the little cheers dude is gone lol
toward the end we did hear a slight double banging noise the 1...2... about 2 seconds apart and about every 3 or 4 seconds while at 2000 rpm.
not really a clank nor a clunk.
thinking back it could have been the horns' electrical plugs smacking on the bumper as they were hanging in front of the bumper.
once wifey-san let it idle the noise went away.
As was previously explained I shall change the oil and filter and take the car for a drive when I can.
still after hearing the clanking noise pointed out by my family mechanic, and it turning out to have been a spun bearing........and me being by nature a paranoid...
thanks as always and forever and cheers from the great pacific north west
Tk out
:seeya:

Found I didn't have the top bolt in the 'horn tree' + the bracket for it was resting on the bumper and the horn connectors were resting on the bumper too. took a ten mile round trip to the local airport to get gas. Car ran perfectly with no noise.
Oh, and my nasty tranny fluid leak was a loose connection on the radiator!
hope springs eternal.
rock on all!
