time to put my baby away for the winter

Been reading a lot of articles about storing cars for the winter months. I am putting my baby up on the 19th of October. If I am storing it for 6 months should I put it on jack stands for the winter to keep from flat spotting the tires? I see many articles and they all have different theorys. Octobers handymans issue was the last article I read. by the way it was a good artice about tucking your baby away.

Modern tires tend not to flat spot, unless sitting for years. That said, putting the car on blocks unloads the suspension,(which keeps it from sagging), makes it harder for rodents to gain entry, and generally isn't a bad idea at all.

I just top off the tank and park it for the winter. Once or twice on really nice days throughout the winter I'll fire it up, but I don't do anything special.

I add fuel stabilizer apply a battery tender a few days a week and cover it. When the weather permits throughout the winter I will take it out for short drives. The engine loves cold temps.

I used to just start mine up once in a while...and go for a drive on nice days. Anything else is fine and extra. IMHO! Eric

No chance of us northern boys going for a cruz on "nice" days during winter. Nice would be 35 and the roads would be white with salt. It's like your driving down a gravel road. Nothing but white dust in the rearview.....
