vaccuum lines

There are 2 vac. lines on the rear of my carb.
1 down on the throttle plate the other up higher.
I believe 1 goes to the distributer and the other to the Tranny.
How do I know which goes where?
thanks as always

The big one goes to the power brake booster. The smaller one goes to the trans modulator. There is a special steel line that goes between the carb and the modulator. Mine is on its way from AMES as we speak.

Garage
The vacuum modulator line that feeds into the carb will slide into the carbs port but you may need a small piece of rubber hose to splice the two together so the connection is tight. The end that feeds into the modulator itself, you'll need a piece of rubber vacuum hose to marry the two together. That's the way it is for a '70 anyway.
