05 GTO M6 VS 05 Mustang GT vert M5

05 GTO M6 mods - KNN CAI, X-pipe, Magnaflow axleback, shifter, and suspension

05 Mustang GT M5 mods - FRPP axleback

From a dig I can keep and launch so much better up until the top end of 2nd, then I get walked. From a highway roll I got walked the whole time. From 55-90 I ended up about 1.5 car lengths back.

2003 Corvette Z06 - MGW shifter, Corsa X pipe, Corsa Xtreme exhaust, Texas Speed long tubes w/o cats, PowerStop rotors/pads, Conti DWS tires, C6Z51 F&R sways, C5R headlights, tuned

It was a friends car I raced. Wish I would of got it on video but didn't think about it until after the fact. Maybe another time since he is local.

Kinda sucked losing but I wasn't expecting to win. Can't wait to see what about $1000 will do with the Mustang...
- FRPP 4.10s
- rear diff bearings(why not while I'm there)
- JLT intake- SCT handheld with lifetime tunes
- MGW shifter

From what I read, the intake and tune are good for about 20HP(keeping it on 87. Going to premium should net a few more). The gears should be go for atleast .1 faster. Shift should take .1 off as well as the stock shifter isn't anything special. Should make it much more interesting. I'm not too worried about top speed as its a drop top. Took it up to 140 already and it was floating. I'm happy with sub 120mph.
