C5 Z06 versus GT500

I went out for a drive last night.

I ended up at light on an empty stretch of road beside a GT500. He revved and I could tell he had an exhaust so I knew it was going to be close.

I got a great launch and took him by a bit more than a car to the top of first. Through 2nd, 3rd and about half of 4th he slowly pulled on me to end up at 130 he had me by about 2 cars.

He had an intake, pully, exhaust and a tune. He told me with slicks he runs mid 11's.

Nice guy.

That's my first loss in the Z06. Time for an intake.
