Raced last night - results

First time in 3 months. Little cooler than in July but still quite humid. Used a 50 shot of nitrous on first run only...didn't work well. So didn't use it again. Best run was 10.4 @ 130 (no nitrous). Don't have video of the 10.4 pass, but plenty at 10.5.

Having car retuned Oct 24...datalogging showed degrees of timing down to 10at the end of the run. Also going to increase boost from 20 to 25 lbs or until the intake manifold blows (will bring a spare)

06GT, 76mm turbo @ 22 lbs boost, stroker built motor, 4r70w, alcohol inj sys

old times before recent engine rebuild and new power mods
10.0 @ 136

Those are awesome times!!
What should your timing be at the finish line?? Are you still on the spray going across the line @ 10at? Or is that just from the boost it(your MSD box I would assume) retards it that far??

All the 10.5 runs were without nitrous. In fact, we are not going to use nitrous anymore. It's been too erratic and we're into bracket racing where 1/100s can often make or break.

Also changing tuners. Last tuner was very good for street tunes on pump gas but we need a place that is used to 1000+ hp cars on C16. Scheduled for such a racecar tune end of this month. Expect timing to come down at the big end, but timing was at 18 to start the run. Should be closer to 30 on the C16.

Also going to increase boost from 20 to 25 lb or as much as fuel supply will tolerate. Yes, car has MSD 2 step, transbrake, and delay box.

Thanks for the continued interest and support.

I'm interested to see what a different tune does to the same equipment! The new guy might know how to get it to run on the nitrous the way it should. With 10.5s now, you could be in the 9`s with the nitrous!
