Help to match Nocturnal Blue paint

Hi - recently bought a 1964 GTO painted Nocturnal Blue Metallic. It had supposedly one repaint about 10 years ago. I need to repaint the trunk and a couple other small panels and I am having a hard time finding the paint. I have gone to the local automotive paint store I have been going to for the last 20 years and no information on paint formula in the computer programs or calling Dupont and PPG. They will color match for me, but I would like to get the correct formula for a good starting point. Any help would be appreciated. Brian

Paint match or find an old body shop that still mixes their own paint. Maybe they have the formula. That's how I got my Grenadier Red...

Have an old Acme paint book which shows the color used for 1963-64 Pontiac Tempest only, Acme #9177 . Here is the formula for Acrylic paint if this might help: Thinner - 0, 613 Navy Blue - 55-3/4, 602 Blue Black - 55-1/4, 612 Medium Metallic - 55-3/4, 601 White - 56.

Now I realize these are Acme mixing colors, but you might be able to work with the numbers with a local auto paint store using their brand of mixing colors? Might be worth a try and get a pint of the stuff just to see.

Here is a company which offers your color if you want to purchase online. You might want to email them. Buy Custom Paint For Your Automobile Or Motorcycle At Discount Prices!

I also found this which seems to be the same color used on other GM cars by different names. You can also see the Acme #9177 code color used for all of them as well, so you might be able to have better luck with the color under the Chevrolet name or even the Corvette. Just sayin'.
