2006 gto start problems

go to start, engine starts then dies. try to start again and nothing happens. every thing turns on but starter won't engage. after a few to a lot of time turning the key on and off it starts. is this an ECM problem.

Its a BCM problem. I had a similar problem with my 06 goat back in 2013. Start up and immediately shut back off. That was the first time my bcm failed... it failed again last year.

The best thing i have found is a website called g7computers.com. Send then $225, mail your BCM in, they diagnose and fix it the same day they receive it and ship it back out the same day. If they find nothing wrong they refund your money and ship the bcm back to you the same day.

The alternative is to go to GM... pay them $1000 for a factory BCM and another $400 to program it. No thanks!
