Battery

Wondering what is causing my battery to not hold a charge? I have had everything checked and everything checks out to be working properly. The battery gauge fluctuates and seems to get lower as I'm driving then after turning the car off it barely cranks over.

It could be a bad cell in the battery. You can probably have it tested at any auto parts supplier in your area.

Every garage or car repair place has a VAT tester....the VAT tester will put a load on the battery and tell you if it is good. You must have a load tester. Secondly, with just hookups to the battery and one amp cable the VAT will test your charging circuit.....the alternator...it will also test the starter and it will test all theee in about 2 minutes with an ez hookup.....

From what you describe could be a bad cell in battery, or not a fully charged battery, or a bad alternator not charging the battery or a loose or slipping belt resulting in poor charging.

You cannot just read 12 volts and think your battery is good,...12.6 is a fully charged battery,....but it goes down fast 12.4 volts is only 65 % charge,....12.3 50% charge......

TRY TO HAVE A VAT put on the car,....you will know what it is quick
