Hey - happy to help.

The problem with most CAI setups is that they don't work. For instance, the K&N setup mounts the air box in the same location as the OE box. That requires a long plastic intake tube to mate up with the Throttle Body. That tube becomes heat soaked. Cold air not so much. Yu can get the same bang for your buck by putting in a K&N filter in your stock air box. Promise. We tested this on a dyno. The one filter setup that seems to work is the Vara Ram kit. See the photo below. This shows my car (before current mods) with the vara ram installed. Bonus is that this leaves the place on the fender well available for a remote dual oil filter setup. (Bypass plus full flow). Downside is that the vara ram setup includes a cheesy plastic shroud and the filter will rub slightly on the insulation under the hood. Probably a lot of guys on here will call BS on my post but the dyno doesn't lie.
