Winter stored GTO question

When I placed my GTO in storage for the winter, I disconnected the negative battery terminal as recommended in our manuals. Since then (beginning of December) I have checked on the battery a few times to see if I should charge the battery by looking at the inspection eye on the battery. As of yesterday, the eye continues to be clear, not dark, so it appears that my battery is holding its voltage well.

What is the typical time frame for the battery to go without a charge?

Indecently, my GTO is stored in a garage.

The eye is only a guideline. Your battery should hold up fairly well, it should not deplete just sitting there unless it's really cold where you have it.

I suppose you could put it on a trickle charge to keep it up to par. If your battery is strong it should be ok for a few months of just sitting.
