05 GTO with evap code po466 & white smoke plz help

Hookayy so my 2005 goat has approx 45,000 miles and threw the dang evap P0466 code ONLY ..and I noticed white smoke from the right tailpipe...but not the left. Smells a little lean or gas like ...harder it runs=more smoke. Oil looks good in texture and color, and coolant is in the resovior....not running hot.

Plz advise if u can I surely appreciate it...

Jen

Evaporator solenoid circuit. That solenoid is up by the TB on the driver's side of the intake manifold. It could be as simple as the gas cap though. First make sure it isn't damaged where it seals and then make sure it is fully on. Clear the code by pulling the Neg. battery terminal for a few minutes and then after reconnecting see if the light is out and drive it to see if it comes back on.

As to your differences in exhaust the evap circuit would not affect one side more than another so there may be two different issues.
