Ac/Heat

I bought this 2006 Pontiac GTO automatic it is not blowing cold air just heat. I've tried charging the AC multiple times and it's not taking any freon I think I might have a leak but Im not sure. Also the compressor is very loud even when your driving if you turn the AC on the noise goes away and the AC turns on and off like it has a bad control switch what should I do I need help?!!

Where your compressor is noisy I would replace your compressor. The worst part is that when your compressor fails it is best to replace the condenser, thermal expansion valve, and flush the evaporator in case there is metal in the system. I would put some freon with uv dye in the system first and see if you can find a leak and how serious it is
