alternant jack location

I am replacing the complete rear end of my car, control arms, shocks, springs, breaks, everything and I need to support my car on jacks while I put the new stuff in, but the spot where I normally stick the jacks and where I've seen to, needs to be unbolted. So I need a new spot to put jacks in the rear of my car.

Wow, there isn't much of an alternative there. How about a jib crane? Similar to a jib one would use to pull the engine. After protecting the car, chain it and lift the ass end up. Figuring on what you want to do, a floor jack may be in your way?

There appears to be a crossmember between the mufflers high up where the rear of the diff is attached to. (according to the scale I have of the undercarriage.) It is the last cross member before the rear bumper. That appears to be the only place to jack.

I think a jib crane would be your best bet and chain it in front of the rear wheels. You'd have an unobstructed work area.
