Changing slave cylinder and clutch someone help!

So I'm driving my 05 GTO and the clutch stopped working, I stopped and checked the fluid and it was gone. I filled it and pumped the clutch and all of leaked from the bottom of the tranny. I believe its the slave cylinder but I'm not sure. Anyway I bought a new one but my mechanic is telling to buy a new clutch so that I wont have to pay the labor again later. If I get a stage 2 clutch do I have to change other parts?

It's almost undoubtedly the slave. The only thing I would add for sure is a remote bleeder. Besides making it easy to bleed it also allows easy and complete flushing of contaminated fluid down the road. Just to be safe I would also measure the PP fingers to bell housing mounting surface and TOB to trans face distances to see if you need a shim on the slave or not. The distances are pretty critical and just slapping in parts can make for going back and redoing things.
