Dome Light Upon Entry Question

I have noticed that the dome light does not come on right away when the passenger door is opened. I didn't time it but am guessing that it came on about 30 to 60 seconds after I had opened the door. Is this normal? Or is there a setting that I need to change? I would think that that the light should come on right away. Any suggestions are appreciated.

nope, mine doesn't do that. Make sure the black switch in the dome light is in the middle of its 3 positions.

RTM, lots of things you can do with the lights. I don't have my manual right now to give you a page number, but it is adjustable.

Thanks for the replies. I decided to mess with the button on the door jam last night and it turned on after I popped it out a couple of times. Must not have been getting a good connection. Now if only the roads would clear/dry up so I could enjoy the car.
