Drive shaft

I need some help my 05 Gto is starting to shake when I take off from a dead stop once I pick up speed it stops

Yyyyep....check your carrier bearing. This is what mine looked like.....

Yup carrier bearing for sure mine does the same thing you describe the rubber piece around the bearing is worn out
You have a few options
1 get a 1 piece driveshaft from driveshaftshop.com for about 680
2 buy a new center carrier bearing from gtog8.com for 120 and if you feel you can replace it your self go for it you can search the forum and find out how to do it. I've found it once before but not sure where
3 find a used 2 piece on eBay... But I wouldn't recommend it
Now my opinion I would do and I myself plan on buying the 1 piece driveshaft from driveshaft shop. Reason being is because the drive shaft is the weakest link in our drivetrain and is a great investment
