Going to get a predator tomorrow

I'm getting a predator for my 06 GTO tomorrow from Summit racing in Ohio. The main reason I'm getting it is to turn off the rear o2 sensors so the check engine light is off. I have SLP headers and cat back and the check engine light is on. When I buy the predator, what do I need to do first? Is there a way I can turn the o2's off? And does the predator stay mounted in the car, or does it just flash the computer and you dicsonnect it?
