Got to be honest....

I don't really know $hit about cars...(Really). I can change oil, plugs, filters, stuff like that, but brakes, transmissions, transaxles, cases, etc etc make my head spin.

Here is what I plan on doing. Tips/advice are MORE then welcome....

Oil: Mobil 1 Synthetic (Weight unsure, I use 10W30 in '02 Maxima)
Air Filter: Stock GM replaceable (Heard that oiled filters like K&N can void a warranty).
Regularity of Transmission and rear casing maintenance unknown.
Brakes: As needed again GM replaceable.
Tires: Wanting to put 245's on front and 255's on rear. Input?
Coolant/Thermostat: Kind of nervous with an all aluminum block and heads setup. Are these prone to warping? I absolutely HATE coolant leaks, cause once the top pops, you cant stop it, it always appears somewhere else.

FYI, my car only has 11k miles on it, and they were EASY miles, this thing is spotless even under the hood. I privately carfaxed it and everything has checked out, just a little nervous. From what I have read on here, they do not seem to be overly difficult/$$$ to maintain......

Over all (After 2 weeks of ownership), I am VERY pleased with it. Always wanted a Sexy Redhead.... This is the FIRST fullblown sports car I have owned.

Have you ever thought that the people you talk to online are perfectly normal....and that YOU are the psychopath?

I would hesitate to call it a full blown sportscar. But it is a nice ride no doubt!
