Holden fuel tank swap?

Anyone ever wondered about this? I have and am wondering if anyone else is interested to free up the turnk space to the way that it should be. Should not be hard as the HSV comes with the gas tank elswhere.

Time for Groucho to post a picture of steaks roasting on a flaming BBQ.

Seriously, doesn't sound too bad in theory -- but stuff like finding a replacement fuel filler door and cutting out the quarter panel to relocate it will really start to add up.

the 05 and 06 monaro's appear to have the door in the same location as the gto not the 04 monaro though makes sense for holden to just make all the quarters the same
