How much do yall think this would cost to fix?!

I own a 2006 Gto and my father in law decided he needed one too and ran off and bought this 2005 for $9700 and thinks it can be fixed for $1800....what do yall think?!

Part it put and just buy a nice one. Your gonna be shocked how much damage that actually is.

Painting alone will be a good part of that. Parts on these cars are astronomical. He paid about 4k too much

Repairs including paint could exceed cost of car. IMO, your dad made a bad decision to buy.

Also, if that car ends up having to be registered as a salvage/reconstructed/rebuilt title, then he really overpaid. The purchase price plus the parts and repairs will total out to be over twice what that car would ever be worth.
