Just did the bluetooth install

I just did the bluetooth install and wow! It took about one hour and I find myself now going to the car to make phone calls. I have not done the Holden buttons yet, but the install looks very clean and I will do the buttons next month. Props to the owner of http://members.cox.net/05gto/html/bo...th_install.htm

Any Security Risk?

Is there any security risk involved with this bluetooth installation? I believe some foreign makers like Honda incorporated bluetooth in their security system and found it was hackable from outside the vehicle. At patch was applied and the system was re-secured, but this could be a concern.

At most they could hack into and use the stereo with thier bluetooth phone. There is a port on the side of the unit that I am assuming is for "terminal" use but in my experience it could be for nothing. I may try it out when I do the buttons.
