Rack & Pinion Rebuilds

Just tried replacing my old rack & pinion unit with a rebuild from A1-Cardone. After 3 hours installing it (most of that time spent getting the first supply line attached) I started the engine to get fluid into the system and found a leak coming out of the top of the unit, where it connects to the steering shaft coupler. What a complete waste of time. I should have sent the unit back when I saw that they had slightly pinched one of the metal lines going across the rack, but thought they knew what they were doing.

I just wanted to post this in case anyone else was wondering about the quality of their rebuilds. Oh well. Another lesson learned.

Is anyone finding a better rebuild from AC Delco? It costs about twice as much.
