Reduce performance mode

So I’ve been having a issue every time I down the gas pedal the engine lugs and I get the reduce performance mode . I shut the car off for about 2 minutes and it starts back up good . Off other forums I’ve seen that the common issues are the TPS or Accelerator pedal . Unfortunately the pedal sensor is out of stock everywhere and I’ve read that that part was discontinued. My question is would a ls2 Holden monaro accelerator pedal be a good replacement for my 2006 Pontiac gto ? This is the website I found the pedal https://www.holmart.com.au/holden-hs...v8-accelerator
