shifter sticking

Just bought my 05 friday, noticed at low speeds shifter sometimes sticks between 1st and 2nd. Anyone else have this problem? Is it caused from the skip-shift? I had a very difficult time getting it into neutral after it stuck.
Anyone have a link and some pics how to install the skip-shift eliminator?
Does installing it effect warranty?

Skip shift is VERY easy to install, and only takes a few seconds once the car is on a lift. It does NOT effect your warranty at all, but it does make driving that much more enjoyable.

Does it force it into 4th? If thats the case then thats the CAGS (Skip shift) which is very easy to fix. If its just tight then its just cause its new. Mine took forever to loosen up, there were a couple times I thought I was all the way in 2nd - let out the clutch only to find out it wasn't!!
