Stainless Steel Grating Grill Material

I want to ditch the large Holden medallion on my Monaro VZ fascia and replace it with a smaller one such as on the rear decklid, but the plastic underneath is molded to accept that badge insert. Hmmm.

I'm liking this stuff. It's intended as a heavy-duty grating, but it's very nice material. We have it on some of our POC vehicles here at work.

I'd probably beadblast it to give it a satin finish rather than the polished stainless finish, or possibly even powder coat it matte black....but it is a nice, strong, not overly heavy material.

We have a CNC waterjet cutter and a CNC laser cutter here, so cutting it should be no sweat. Time to fire up the CAD program!
