traction control isue

this is on a 06 GTO m6, i went to turn on the TC in the rain and it never engaged. pressing the TC button does nothing no icon comes up on the dash showing wether its on or off.

Pop the tunnel cover off and check the wires. There's one screw under the rubber "mat" in front and then carefully pull up from the arm rest end and work forward.

Yeah, it's a momentary switch so you can check wires and maybe continuity pushing the button if you have an ohm meter.

I didnt get a chance to take anything apart but i think you hit the nail right on the head, last night i opend the console door to take somthing out and when i closed it the TC light went on the control button, if i hit the door with my hand the light goes on and off, it has to be either a faulty switch or connection.
