Not for nuthin' but if ya take your air cleaner out and take a look where it is mounted...where is the air coming from? There is no significant advantage to a after mkt CAI unless you devise a way for the air to get to it. In other words at this point the upgrade will net you close to nothing unless there is a way for air to be directed to the intake.

So your stating that the aftermarket air intake system provides no better air flow or improved hp gains then the factory system ?

Minimal gains ..unless you get the air directed to the CAI. I read somewhere where someone used a 5-6" hole saw for a way for air to be directed to the CAI for a better flow. The way it is now I cant see how $200+ investment is worth it. I have a K&N in my car and realized the pitfall to this mod after I took out the original air cleaner.
