When I started the bottle cap bar my intentions were to just have a nice assortment...but it got out of hand. I'm still collecting and it is amazing the number and variety of different caps from pre prohibition to the present.

Here are some links for anyone interested in the hobby -

The Crowncap Collectors Society International

Collector Info.

Collecting can get out of hand, I started collecting pinball machines and restoring them and at one time I had 23 of them.
I sold them off and bought a GTO.
I swear I only want one...well maybe two but that's it... unless I find a good deal on a third one but that is my limit.

ha! You guys are funny, but as Dirt y Harry said, " A man has to know his limitations".....

The problem though is usually more like Errol Flynn's line......

" I can't reconcile my Gross habits with my Gross Income".....

Anyway, it is having some fun doing it that counts!

Yes Alky, I'm not sure having that many is a hobby... you may have crossed over to the addiction side. Neat stuff for sure. Matt

With all those caps you need some bottle music to go along with them.
