Mystery Manifold!

Forgot I had this. Bought it almost 15 years ago for one of my rides. Can anyone guess the application?

Bingo! Bought it for an 80 Grand Prix I had (3.8) not only a 4bbl, but also aluminum.

Back when Kaiser owned Jeep the were putting 225 ci. buick v-6s in cjs and jeepsters. They were a different firing order but the late model intakes would work and still are a popular swap. 4x4s are my first love.

You may be thinking of the late '70s 301 turbo pontiac had. They used a Q-jet, I think all of the 3.8s were MPI.

I know the 3.8 turbo on the 79 Riviera was a 4bbl Q-jet. I had a friend that had one. It had two lights on the dash. The first one let you know the turbo was into boost and the second indicated that the 4bbl was open.

Not the early ones. My folks had a 78 Regal 3.8 with a blower and a QJET. The 301 Turbo Trans was a V-8

Oh Yea!

Wow, that brings back some memories. In the very early 1970ís my friendís dad had a Jeep with an aluminum high rise with a Holley 4 bbl and headers with Cherry bomb mufflers.
I made that thing lift the front wheels in first and second gears in front of friends in a school parking lot. They could still remember that over 20 years later.
