Things I learned at E3 2005

Xbox360 looked incredible.

The line for seeing PS3 was too fecking long...and even those with a press pass (like me) were being told we needed to make an appointment.

Battlefield2 is due "middle of June" and will rock.

Flight sims are all but dead.

There are some really cool simseats out there for racing sims.

There was a sim for NHRA drag racing. Why?

Ghost Recon 3 looked neato.

Met the US distributor for the excellent GTR racing sim. Will whore for copies.

If you were to go to a strip club in the LA area today, only the ugly chicks would be dancing. All the rest were appearing as booth babes in varying degrees of costumage at E3.

Id's Enemy Territory: Quake Wars looks incredible.

It's quite amazing how games are coming along nowadays, compared to when I was back in high school and had the Sega Genesis when that was brand new.

Hey Groucho, I know it's not a console game, you might want to take a look at some of the upcoming tech for Unreal Tournament 2007...the graphics are getting closer and closer to real life.

Back to the console games, I was looking at the tech for the ps3, I believe it was Final Fantasy 7...amazing how much a console game is getting like a computer.
