Not sure. Maybe there was so much stuff to control that one radio wouldn't have enough channels to do the job.

The high end radios have up to 14 channels, can't see needing that many. Maybe the second radio controls a camera or somethin.

I've been out of it for quite some time so I haven't kept up. We used 4 and 5 channels.

Yeah, that's just crazzy control! If you knew how hard it is to just make a heli fly around normal with no inverted flight, that kind of 3D control takes thousands of hours of practice. I dream of becoming that good!
