I'm doing a complete frame off restoration of my parents car that has never left my family. I have had all parts media blasted and primed and painted chassis black when appropriate. I am now trying to put together a rolling chassis. I have most of the original parts. I just want to put the essential parts back on the frame so I will have a rolling chassis so I can reassemble the car and see how everything lines up before I start any body work on the body or or any other parts. Can someone please tell me what parts such as upper and lower a-arms are essential to building a rolling chassis please? Thank you in advance.

To get a roller, you need all the suspension parts installed and working - with the possible exception of the shock absorbers. This means springs, upper/lower control arms, all the bushings and ball joints, and the steering linkage.

Welcome! How about some photos?
