Correct Hardware

Does anybody know what is the correct finish on a '69 gto hood latch?
Is there a book or guide that lists finishes for hardware, brackets?

Try to find the guide:

Pontiac GTO Restoration Guide, 1964-1972 (Motorbooks Workshop) (2nd Edition)
by Paul Zazarine, Charles Roberts Ph.D., Chuck Roberts
Paperback, 544 Pages, Published 1995

ISBN 0-87938-953-2

It does specify finishes for many parts.

It does not specify in the text for this exact part - but shows close-up photo and this part is bare/phosphate.
