Does a 68 GTO rear bumper have value?

So, here's the deal. When I bought my 68 GTO, it came with some extra parts including a rear bumper with some dings and scratches that could probably be restored. I really have no use for it but don't want to simply toss it. Anybody have any ideas on value or is someone out there (western Wisconsin) in need of one? PM me for details and pics if interested.

Awesome question jayvee - I have a similar question with my new 68' that came with a brand new shiny Dakoda Digital cluster - and I have the entire old original one. I've been combing ebay and other sites - have you tried looking there to see what the value may be?

What kills you is that they repop many rear/front bumpers. Although they may not be exact as factory, many are not that concerned as long as fit and finish looks good.

To clean-up the original bumper and do a quality replate job is not inexpensive, plus you have to ship both ways and that is a heavy piece.

My price, if I were to sell, would be $100.00.

Craigslist in my area used to have a very nice '68 front bumper for $50.00. It was on there forever. Then it disappeared and was being sold by another seller - $100.00. Probably bought it to flip. Again, was there for some time and then disappeared.
