Interior color question.

My 69 has the dark green interior, ( code 256). The dash just came back from Just Dashes and looks great. It matches the dark green we used on the steel dash top section that's permanently attached to the area where the defroster vents and radio grille holes are, however the steering wheel which I had restored by Gary's steering wheel restoration in Carlisle PA, is a much lighter shade of green. I furnished him with the correct paint code for that part . How close is the color of the steering wheel supposed to be to the dash color? I know these interiors are far from perfect, but im not certain about this. Thanks

Garage
With my 68, the dash pad, window crank knobs and door lock pulls were all a dark red almost maroon in color. The lower dash a medium red, and the original steering wheel was almost a bright red in comparison. I think the upper dash components were darker on purpose to reduce glare.

Thank you for your response. I'm trying to find some pictures of a car with this green interior to get a better view of the steering wheel.
