1964-1974 Tempest, Lemans & GTO General DiscussionSo…..how to explain this. …….. the GEN light is lit until more than about 1500rpm. There is a strange whirring until the light disappears. Also……when car is warm and at idle…no light…no whirring. I have to pull the throttle lever at the carb to get it to ‘normal’ low idle…the GEN light...
