    I don't know if I ever replied to your message - it was in my 'visitor' inbox instead of my private message area --- dunno how that happened.

    Anyway, since it sounds like your engine is a mostly stock 350, I'd say a stock (stock-ish) converter ought to be fine and dandy. Depending on how you plan to drive the car though, you might find that 3.55 gears are a little much. I'm running 3.50's in my car, admittedly with a more 'loose' (higher stall) converter, but at 70 mph I'm turning right at 3200 rpm. If you're planning to do a lot of highway driving, you'd probably find that 3.23's would be more friendly to your engine and also to your wallet (fuel cost).

    Just a thought.
