Bought it in '79/80 in LA. Have spent the last 30 years doing/redoing/doing again. Slowed down in the last 5 or so years but still manage to tinker when I can. Sent the motor out and had it rebuilt about 2 years back, not more than 700 miles since. I really need to get out more! Pretty much original looking at 20/20 excepting of course a lot of the bright trim, interior pieces are repros and incorrect under-hood clips,clamps. Redid the whole interior when Legendary came out with their nice stuff.
I replaced a lot of the sheet metal back in the days when you could go out to your local junk-yard and find whatever you needed. Have reinstalled the correct--though non-functioning-- Ca' only smog pump.
Managed to get the original black plates back on it after years of locking horns with the good folks down at the Ca DMV.
