More information / background on the show is listed below:

2006 marked the first year NPD and Silver Springs were able to combine forces to host the inaugural Oktoberfest show. Since then we’ve experienced great turnouts for the show with several hundred examples of GM-powered rides, early and late from bone-stock to highly modified. A family-fun setting that’s been heralded as a great alternative to a parking lot show, cars and trucks are parked inside Silver Springs Park to make them the star attraction while allowing showgoers to enjoy Silver Springs' features including their glass bottom boats. NPD also invites several select manufacturers to attend and display their latest products and answer questions. Fastback '65 will play two sets of music, and there will be a bounce house for kids as well.

The show also incorporates a cruise to Cedar Key from NPD’s main warehouse in Ocala on Friday morning September 30th. Participants start gathering around 8 a.m., and all are welcome to tour/browse NPD’s extensive private car and truck collection (over 200 cars and trucks) before a short driver’s meeting detailing the cruise around 9-9:30 a.m., then the cruise departs. The trip consists of back roads cruising through Ocala’s horse farm country at easy driving speeds on the way to scenic Cedar Key. The trip takes about 1-1/2 hours each way, and when arriving in Cedar Key (a nice fishing community with a few good local eating establishments), participants can eat lunch, peruse the shops or enjoy the views before returning to Ocala. Once back in Ocala, the opportunity to check out NPD’s car and truck collection will once again be available until 5 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to attend but not show a car, you'll be subject to the following park entrance fees: $8/vehicle (includes all occupants); $5/vehicle with single-occupant, $2/walk or bicycle-in.

Registration is available for all GM models early or late, as well as all GM-powered street rods and exotics. Everything from bone stock to highly modified is welcome!
