Hello,

Anyone know of a source for glove box door hinge springs?

Okay, so the glove box door is basically a poor design in my opinion, you push the button to open the glove box which pushes the door closed. How the tiny torsion spring on located on the hinge is supposed to over come me pushing the dang button does not make sense. Anyway. I know it must of worked somewhat better in the past, now it just mostly stays locked unless I use something to pry open the door while I push the button.

You can see the spring in the attached picture.

Thanks for your consideration and or assistance.

Cheers,

Bob

Are you sure the striker mechanism is adjusted properly? The spring does not appear to be broken.
