Looks to me to be save-able. I suppose it is all about your budget. You could get a better used radiator support - which may be pricey, or a new repro which may be near close to the original fit but not quite and has to be modified. You might have wished you kept and repaired the original.

So my vote would be to keep the original because it is factory and you know it fits correctly. and I'd repair the rot and clean it up with a sand blasting. If you gotta add a few small sheet patches, so what, you can make them look pretty good to the average person.

Easily fixable and no one will ever see the repairs if done right. Core supports are a very common rust spot right were yours rotted out. Very hard to find an undamaged unit and repops are not that good so I would say wholeheartedly, yes, fix it.

Triple that.....repair and save. It'll fit right, be original, and save you money. One less Chinese part on your car, too. Win-win!
