Did any 1970 GTO Judges come from the factory with 455 motors? I thought they were only equipped with either ram air III or ram air IV motors. However the Judge registry shows Judges with 455HO motors. Is that right?

Not in 1970 the HO were made in 1971, 936 being made. My book not showing how many of those were Judges in 71.

455 HO motors didn't start in 1971. They started in 1970. In 1970 A-bodied car that were equipped with 455 were HO motors and they came with large valve and smaller combustion chambers compared to the full sized cars with 455s. In 1971 the HO motors changed to round port head vs. the d port heads in 1970.

So back to my original question, were there really any Judges equipped with 455 motors in 1970....I don't care about 1971.

A book I have says 14 hardtop Judges with the L75 option (455 cid) were made and 3 Judge convertibles, as also show in the pictures from the previous post. All of these were automatics. None were produced with manual transmissions according to the book I have.
