Took my 05 to the track tonight, went [email protected] best. Did four other runs between 13.59 - 13.66. The 13.25 was after cooling off for an hour with the hood up. The slip reads as follows:

The car has the stock mufflers removed, the MAF de screened, cut air box, and a 4.7K ohm resistor on the IAT sensor. I haven't dyno'd yet, so I have no idea if any of this helped. I can say that heat soak kills this car. Also, the clutch seems pretty weak, as it seemed to slip when I launched the car. I had zero wheelspin, and left at about 3000 rpm. As I stabbed the throttle, the tach stayed at 5000 rpm for a while, and then picked up more rpm. It never bogged or spun, so I think clutch was giving way.

I believe this car is capable of 12.7X with a set of drag radials (pulling at least a 1.85 sixty foot if the clutch will hold), and making the pass with the car cold, and I mean cold. I plan on getting some Dr's soon, and trailering the car to the track (1.5 hour drive). I'll warm it up just long enough to get the oil flowing. Then, hope my estimations are correct.

Kllrvet, same question what is the 4.7K ohm resistor on the IAT sensor all about? Got any pics of where it is connected to and description of what it does?
