Im surprized they are going to make around 12,000 of the 05s. That means there will be good deals the end of next year. I went to the Hartford,CT autoshow and there was a black 05 there. Practically no one hanging around it or sitting in it. The interior is fantastic, very classy no doubt about it. The outside of the car leaves you wanting more, even with the hood scoops and dual exhaust. I just can't see the sales hitting 12,000 without heavy incentives again. Not flaming here, Im looking to buy a sporty type car in the spring and the 05 gto is on the list. If the 05 comes down to 27,000, 28,000 range it would be a steal

There are '04's in the local paper here listed for $27400. I wouldn't be surprised to see that again next year.
